I started Snapshot LA after a decade of shooting live music, where you get one frame and no second take. That habit stuck. Sessions here are unhurried but decisive: we talk first, shoot in daylight, and stop when we have the picture rather than when the hour runs out.Most of my work is theatrical and commercial headshots for actors, plus portraits for musicians, writers and founders who need something better than a cropped wedding photo. I shoot in a converted storefront in Highland Park with north-facing windows, and on location anywhere between Long Beach and the valley.
Every session includes wardrobe guidance beforehand, tethered shooting so you can see frames as we go, and full retouching on the selects. Turnaround is one week, and rush is available if you have a casting deadline.
